Earthling Society is a fantastic newish group from England who sail the wild and serious seas of contemporary prog-rock. They’ve launched two cds: “Albion” and that year’s, “Plastic Jesus and the Next Eye Blind” both of which exhibit a contemporary virtuosity while analyzing such hard matters as religions role within our lives and the destruction of the environment. Their wockhardt for sale extended, dub-inflected and psychedelic tracks are full of texture, indicating and dynamics. It has been my delight to stay contact.

psych with punk rock and got pissed down with it totally. Then we met Jon (drums) in Dave’s regional pub. He’d was once in a prog rockband named ‘Isis’ that reinforced Genesis and VDGG once they performed up North in the 70’s. He’d played in several rings but had not done any such thing for a couple years. We got together for a jam and it began to develop from there. Following about 3/4 weeks Jon said he wanted to begin performing anything in some sort of Ozrics design and contact it ‘Earthling society’ and thats what we became. (editors note: for anyone not in the know “Ozrics” refers to the GREAT group Ozric Tentacles)
