The United Airlines refund policy is flexible enough to permit full credit for the ticket purchase. On such tickets, United’s 24-hour cancellation policy is in place, and the traveller receives a full refund with no costs. The drop-off must be completed within 24 hours of the flight’s purchase date. Both phoning the toll-free helpline number and visiting the website directly to cancel an order are options.
